The Dreamer ~ The Achiever

ABOUT ME

I am a Chemical Engineering Student and would like to learn Science and Technology in a fascinating way and correlate with my studies. I enjoy making real-life analogies from the concepts of Engineering. I’m a science enthusiast and have always been fascinated by chemical engineering and its wide applications. Gradually, Chemical Engineering has become my Obsession. I believe everything in this UNIVERSE is connected. It has been divided into arts, science, sociology etc..for the ease of mankind.

Neuroscience can be intersected with Chemical Engineering. There are millions of chemical reactions take place in the brain. Innovation starts with the Intersection of various subjects.

Learning Mindset, Gratitude Mindset, Compassionate Mindset and Infinite mindset are my driving principles.

Respecting everyone’s time is my habit and strongly believe in spiritual thoughts. I would like to connect to the people and make a healthy and happy atmosphere around me and around the world:)

my commitment

iisc dream - came true

Indian Institute of Science has always been my dream for five years. I wanted to step in there, an experience that research atmosphere, be present among the intellectuals of India, and have even more productive conversations. So I was relentless for 53+days in looking at research profiles, emailing professors, and believing in myself. I call it Indian Heaven to experience science and Technology.

Finally, I made it to IISc. A Heaven for me. I am thankful to my mentors and Prof. Ananth Govind Rajan for accepting me. Pride washed over me in waves when I knew I was the only person who went to IISc for an internship in the history of OUCT.

Research is not just re- searching things. It is all about re-inventing and re-innovating yourself to the core What a tremendous feel it gives once you get into!! -Rohith, just exploring

MY WAY OF LEARNING- IT EVOLVES!

(i) Chemical Engineerig- The Promise of Future.

Learning Chemical Engineering has been the same for more than 30 years. So, I thought, why don’t we say A for Alkylation, and B for Boiling and make real-life analogies? This makes the subject interesting and fun.

So, I formed a WhatsApp group called ChemE-The promise of Future where I learn at least one concept in every day as part of the 100 ChemE days challenge and share them with my friends.

I believe, If I share, I will learn more.

 (ii) Engineering-The Engine of Life

I realised the power of regular updates and the power of Engineering.I also believe, exploration and learning should not be limited to ChemE alone but explore other fields too. So, I formed one more group called Engineering- The Engine of life with an aim to create a technical atmosphere for people from different engineering branches to discuss and learn from each other.

There's is nothing like weakness. You become weak when you don't try to strengthen your weaknesses. -Rohith, strengthening my weaknesses.

WHAT MORE I DO?

Wherever I go, I want to win hearts, meet and learn from people and projects.
I met some of the professors whom I call Indian treasures.

I met Prof. CNR Rao, Bharat Ratna Awardee, Prof. SasidharGumma, IITT, Prof.Mayank Shrivastava IISc, Prof.Sriram Devanathan, Amrita Univ, Prof. Ananth Govind Rajan, IISc and more.

I do this because, I believe NETWORKING is all about CONNECTING PEOPLE and CONNECTING IDEAS

HOW I START MY DAY REGULARLY?

I decided to fulfill all 4 dimensions of life with consistency. 1.Physical Dimension 2.Mental Dimension 3.Intellectual Dimension 4.Spiritual Dimension. As part of 1, I wake up at 5 and start jogging along with my friends around OU campus and some exercise followed by 10 min Meditation. The body worked, I sweated and getting ready for the rest of the day. This is something I wanted in my Engineering life and it is happening.

I couldn’t accept that a young boy of 18 was so hung up on Chem Engg as a subject he wanted to graduate in. In the last 2 years I watched with growing conviction that here was a truly passionate budding CE. He created a Whatsapp group to talk daily about Chemical Engg topic and not only he’s been so amazingly consistent at it, he keeps prodding others in the Thop e-cell to do the same about their own subjects, so that they are motivated to read and understand their subjects too. I’ve not seen any other student do this in the whole group. He wants to learn together, if he is benefitting from some idea, he makes sure others know of this technique too and benefit from it. How good he is in the subject should be assessed by his professors and peers, but I do know he’s constantly working on improving his knowledge, reading up various references, following the lectures, talks and notes of some of the best professors across universities. He’s a core subject lover. For me, his sincere & deep love for the subject promises a serious chemical engineer in the making, who is definitely going to make a mark in the field, should he get the right environment and coaches. I do wish and hope he will land in the team of the best CE labs for fulfilling his dream studies in the subject for obtaining a PhD. He is certainly working towards it and his professors would undoubtedly be impressed with his dedication. He already did a few mini projects, wrote review papers, is even now working on a signification project in waste heat utilization etc. All the best buddy.

Right from the beginning, he has was driven to make a difference. His persistent desire for learning new skills and ability to envisioning big goals are inspirational. For instance, the way he made his dream of doing a internship at IISC come true is remarkable. Consistency, which is key for pulling off such amazing feats is one of Rohith’s best attributes. He is empathetic and leads by example. I believe that all his dreams will come true.

. In Thop-Ecell we call him – A ChemE warrior. Not only chemical engineering but he cares for every person around him. He lives in the value system of Thop-Ecell. To be honest, he is ‘A mixture of passion, perseverance, caring, hardworking and focus’.
I truly believe in him that he will become the top 1% of happy people and value providers.
He is also a person who not only think about his bigger goals but helps other to reach their destination. I am a genuine victim of that. He acts as a remainder for me to think about my goals. He helps in every way he can do with 100%effort.

-Triveni Gangadari, 1st year PhD student, Pennsylvania State University, USA.

I have never a person who is such passionate about Chemical Engineering.
His love towards Chemical Engineering is seen in everything he does. He is very compassionate toward people. He always tries to share with others if he learns something new. He is connected with world chemically and emotionally

I thought I really knew what Chemical Engineering is. But, I realized that I really didn’t understand the way this man -my lad(I fondly call him CE( Chemical Engineer) understood it. I have never a person who is such passionate about Chemical Engineering. His love towards Chemical Engineering is seen in everything he does. He is very compassionate toward people. He always tries to share with others if he learns something new. He is connected with world chemically and emotionally.
