THE differences we've created
1. ALUMNI-STUDENT BRIDGE
Do you exist without your grandparents? Or will you leave them once you are grown up? Aren’t alumni our grandparents or parents with regard to college? They are an epitome of “experience”; the history who made this “present moment” possible for us. What if these both generations, one accomplished and the other enthusiastic collaborate, for creating a sustainable future? This is the most dreamt difference by every college. Our “Alumni- student bridge” is all about that difference. This bridge has been built by creating a platform to express their life stories happily with a value driven attitude in students, which brought numerous opportunities to knock our door.
6. AUTHORS AT THE AGE OF 18&19
Rather than just a difference, we could say this as phenomenal change. Do you think it’s possible to get a mindset of writing a book, creating content, putting hours of effort, self editing and finally publishing it at the age of 18 and 19 years when the rest are not even thinking to open a book and read? At the age of struggling to write a clear and effective email, bringing out a whole new book which is a result of patience and interest driven hours of transcription, has definitely become a feather in our cap and got it’s own place of recognition through foreign radios. From the days of sitting in audience chair to the days of releasing our own books in front of established alumni in AGM, there came a phenomenal difference!.

Never imagined students having productive and subjective discussions for hours and hours over phone/video calls? But we made that “dreamy discussions” come into our list of differences. We literally created a loop, that has no end when it comes to knowledge-sharing and learning together. Isn’t the subject more fascinating when explained by our friend like a movie, which is the result of his hours of effort? Knowledge is worth spreading and we are on a mission to increase its value to the infinite loop. Next time, when you are talking to a friend for long hours, just pause for a minute and think of how many subject concepts you are covering. It would definitely convey you how big this difference is!! We are given friends as our classmates by our college, to make the learning process very easy, we should not miss the basics right?

8. BREAKING THE BARRIERS
‘Busy’ seniors and ‘frightened to approach’ juniors – this used to be the trend for decades before our advent. Once this platform of expressing themselves extended its wings of freedom, all those barriers of communication are collapsed and has opened a new horizon of interaction between seniors and juniors. Putting together students at one place is easy, but building a team spirit in all of them is not at all a one night job. Here students had taken their team spirit to the next level and formed a family, that cares and respects each other. When E-Cell believes in bringing disruptive future to the ‘present’ would these years of gap matter? Here we are for a greater cause!

This is our disruptive approach in creating a self-sustaining ecosystem for students to let their interactions and services reach out to the companies globally. Thop Consultancy Services is a cloud-based company set up by E-Cell students which provides multiple services to the companies with potential team and its diversified knowledge. This is creating a difference in the society to tell how capable students are and how companies can benefit from these powerful students. This will be the base platform for many startup ideas.
5. THOP TALKS
Just imagine an ideal case of ‘everyone’ from audience is listening to your presentation. Wouldn’t that be great? You will be the blissful presenter in the world. Exactly this ‘Ideal case’ has become our ‘New Normal’! We understood the miracles we can make by ‘just listening’ with eagerness. We believe everyone’s life story is an opportunity to make our lives even more better. To let the stories come out, to let the happiness flow, we have created a platform for ‘THOPs’, briefly, a professional or a pro in a particular area or skill, whose stories are worth listening and inspiring. World is full of stories but only a few worthy listeners. A remarkable difference from 'seeking an opportunity to speak on dais' to 'the creation of a whole new platform of happy expression'.
10. BEING UP TO DATE WITH CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGIES
Will the same 40yr old black and white movies become block busters if we release them now? If movies are updating to the present technology, then why can’t the students?
Here, students are continuously updating their skill set in addition to their academic knowledge to match with futuristic industrial trends such as Industry 4.0 and AI revolution. They are equipping themselves with simulation software such as Pro/II, Aspen and Coding languages such as Python and also becoming data analysts and RPA developers with knowledge in Neo4j and Uipath software and are standing out as differentiators. It’s not just about getting a degree certificate, but getting a unique skill set, gives you the throne and sets yourself high
