Terrabatt
TerraBatt is the main project of Deepthi. Anoop Mathur sir, one of our Thop Mentors owns a US-based company called Terrafore Technologies. It is working on patented technology in Thermal Battery Storage Systems, which is known by the name Terrabatt. This is going to be the next alternative for Li-Ion Battery. I am proud to see Deepthi involving actively in the project and has been showing her consistency and ownership from the beginning of the project. This is a research-level project and considered to be done by professionals only, but it has been awarded to Thop E-Cell after its value system & learning mindset, though initially thought of given it some other companies. Deepthi, with her passion in enhancing herself technically is going beyond her regular subjects to learn the subjects like Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, and Transport Phenomena which she will be coming across in her 3rd or 4th year of undergrad.
She is very open to learn the concepts, invest countless hours in the background to internalize them and has been consistent in attending the update calls since last 8 months. Though she is from second year, with her interest, involvement and ownership she is proving to everyone that with the learning mindset, anything can be made possible! This project is going to add a lot of value to her PhD goal and we are here to assist her. All the best to you Deepthi!
