Surya has been an integral part of E-Cell from the past three years and had inspired many of the students with his versatile work ethic and skill set. He is known for his academic capability, clarity of thought, consistent attitude and his unique way of expressing things effectively. During the past three years, there were many remarkable achievements like, authoring two books, creating an Internship team that will look after providing internships to UG students from 1st year by connecting with many companies etc., The book “How to learn Chemical Engineering in 100 problems  & Be industry ready using Pro/II simulation software” was written and composed under his leadership within a 45-day time limit with a team of seven. This unique attempt to make the students learn chemical engineering in the best way by imposing conceptual learning through simulation interface has become a feather in his cap which made many colleges like Amrita University, NIT Warangal, GMR Institute of Technology, JNTU Ananthpur call for giving presentations in their colleges. He has developed a great skill in presenting and conveying his ideas to others in an impactful way. That has made him stand in winner position in IIChE model making, IIChE quiz competition, Technosmania 2k19 model making. Many were impressed with his passion for learning and problem solving starting from an internship in the first year at Bhaba Atomic Research Centre to a summer intern at prestigious IIT Hyderabad. With his strong grip on the fundamentals of chemical engineering concepts, Surya has been a teacher and a facilitator to many of his peers and juniors and always supports them to learn more. Recently, one more book called “The Pioneers’ Edition” in the Voices of Alumni series was published under his authorship with a team of three.  He is an active participant in Youth Empowerment Session(YES+) organized by Art of Living foundation. He has developed a special interest over simulation and had learned simulation software like PRO/II, Aspen Plus, Ansys, COMSOL, MATLAB and spends his free time in problem-solving and in trying to digest more interesting concepts of CE. Apart from the technical skills, Surya is a strong leader with an accountable attitude who always thinks of providing value to others with his knowledge. Positive attitude, punctuality, self-discipline and a goal-oriented mindset are his added assets. Team E-Cell is proud to have Surya and wishes him all the very best for his glorious future.
